We understand that flooring materials are heavy, bulky, and need careful handling. A single box of hardwood planks can weigh 30-50 pounds, and a typical room requires 10-20 boxes. Our delivery team has the equipment and experience to transport your flooring safely, saving you multiple trips and the risk of vehicle damage.

Delivery times vary by location and product availability. Most in-stock orders are delivered within 3-5 business days. Custom orders and special-order products may require additional lead time — we’ll confirm the timeline when you place your order.

How Our Delivery Process Works

1. Order confirmation — After you select your flooring at our showroom, we’ll confirm quantities, delivery address, and preferred delivery date.

2. Preparation — Our warehouse team inspects every box for damage, verifies quantities, and packages your order for safe transport.

3. Delivery day — Our team arrives within the scheduled window, brings all materials to your specified location (garage, main floor, or specific room), and verifies the delivery with you on-site.

4. Inspection — We recommend inspecting your flooring within 48 hours of delivery. If there’s any shipping damage or product defects, contact us immediately and we’ll arrange a replacement.

Delivery Tips for Homeowners

Clear the path — Make sure there’s a clear route from the delivery point to where the flooring will be stored. Remove shoes, furniture, and obstacles from hallways and doorways.

Acclimatization — Hardwood and engineered hardwood need to acclimatize to your home’s temperature and humidity for 3-7 days before installation. We’ll deliver early enough to allow for this critical step.

Storage — Keep flooring materials flat, dry, and in a climate-controlled area. Don’t store in garages or sheds where temperature and humidity fluctuate.

Check your order — Count boxes and check lot numbers against your invoice at delivery. Flooring from different production lots may have slight colour variation.

Is delivery included in the flooring price?

Delivery fees depend on order size, product type, and distance. Many orders qualify for free or reduced-rate delivery — ask our showroom team for details when placing your order.

Can you deliver to upper floors in condos or apartments?

Yes. We deliver to condos and apartments throughout Toronto. Please let us know your building’s delivery requirements (loading dock access, elevator booking, time restrictions) when scheduling.

What if I’m not home during delivery?

Someone must be present to receive and sign for the delivery. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours before the delivery date.
