Tony’s Flooring Centre Ltd (“we,” “us”) operates tonysflooring.ca. This page explains what information we collect through the website and our phone line, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you send us a message or quote request through a form on this website, we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address and message. If you tick the optional box to receive email updates, we also record that choice.
Some phone numbers shown on this website are tracking numbers that forward to our main line. When you call or text one of these numbers, our call-tracking service records details of the call or text, such as your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, and the page or source that led you to call. Calls to these numbers may be recorded and transcribed.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and quote requests.
- To arrange appointments, measurements and quotes for flooring work.
- To understand which pages and searches lead people to contact us, and to improve the website.
- To send flooring ideas and sale updates, only if you ticked the email updates box.
Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as the pages viewed, the device and browser used, and the approximate location. We also use WhatConverts for call, text and form tracking, as described above.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website, through heatmaps and recordings of clicks, scrolling and page views. Text you type into forms is masked and not recorded. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google also offers an opt-out add-on for Google Analytics.
Email updates
If you tick the email updates box on one of our forms, we will use your email address only to send flooring ideas and sale updates from Tony’s Flooring Centre. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share information with
We use outside services to run this website and handle messages, including our website host, our email delivery service, a spam-filtering service for forms, Google (analytics and reCAPTCHA), Microsoft (Clarity) and our call-tracking service. They handle information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your personal information.
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website, phone line or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and access to your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to email updates at any time.
